Dog Festivals or Bust!

A few weekends ago, my Mom and Momma were looking for something fun to do for a Saturday with me. They're not good at making decisions, so they left it up to me. Here I am deciding (with my favorite treats of course- Lil' Jack's!):

At least they let me decide! Here were my options:

1. Stay at Home on the couch. That was a hard one. I already was pretty comfortable!

2. Go visit a new Winery. Moms made it a hard decision.

3. Go into the City. While I love DC, I just wasn't in the mood.

3. Go to a Dog & Peach Festival. OF COURSE I PICKED THIS ONE!

Seriously guys, I did pick that one... but I also picked the staying at home one. It was tough!

Mom & Momma packed the car with some of my treats and a water bottle made for me and we were on our way! The festival was in Bluemont, which is past Leesburg, VA. It was perfect weather! I was not in the mood to go peach picking, so when we got there- we concentrated on all the fun smells and other activities!

First up: The life size chess game! Too bad I haven't learned how to play yet.

Then came the big TIRE MOUNTAIN! Mom insisted on climbing with me. I could have done it without her though...

And the animals!! I met a pig, some chickens, and horses but I loved the ducks the most!

They also had a thing were we could stick our heads through, which is me & Momma's favorite thing!

After we tired of everything Bluemont farm offered, we went next door to the winery. And let me tell you. It had the best winery view I've ever seen!! Here's a taste:

Mom's tasting some peach wine that they offered! I also made a Puggle friend so we all had a great time!

After we left, we made one more stop at our super secret favorite winery: Crushed Cellars! They're the best. And do you know what? Since they grow their own beef, I got to have one very delicious bone all to myself! How do you top that?

We ended the day with our favorite type of photo: a family one! Can't wait to do another trip out to Virginia Wine Country soon!

Happy Trails!
Jack
