Yesterday my Momma, Mom and Aunt Jenny had a serious case of the Mondays! So by the time they got home, they needed something sweet to snack on. Which means while they made cup cakes, my momma also made me pup-cakes!
We got the box of mix from my most recent Barkbox in December. It's from Puppy Cake and they have all sorts of flavors! Mine was red velvet.
My mom decided to make me 24 little cup cakes, since I like to eat in little pieces. I tried waiting very patiently, but it was hard!
First you mix all the ingredients into a bowl. You don't need a lot. Just the mix, a egg, 2 tablespoons of water and 3 tablespoons of Veggie oil.
You mix it all up into a bowl- Momma said I wasn't allowed to lick- Mom had to hold me back from the bowl!
Then you bake them for about 18 minutes. Mine only needed 16 to get just the perfect size!
They're really easy. Momma says to tell you all you need is a box of cake mix and 16 ounces of soda.
I was so excited to have cup cakes together!
After my pup cakes cooled- Momma made the yogurt icing included in the cake mix. All you need is just a little water!
Then it hardens, and you're ready to eat the best cake ever!!
When the time came for me to eat, I was unsure at first- I'm not usually allowed cupcakes, but Mom assured me that they were made just for me.
After Momma broke it down into a few smaller bites, I was good to go! I couldn't get enough they tasted so good!
In fact, I licked my plate clean! Don't mind the last scrap seen below, I'm about to gobble it up!
So all in all, it turned into a pretty good Monday after all! And Momma says she'll buy me another mix for my birthday!
